Hero of the Kingdom II is a sort of point-click adventure game, but not in the Lucasarts lineage.

You don’t move a character around a map, but you do hunt around for potentially useful things to click on, helping you solve puzzles. All things considered, this seems like a game well suited for children, though that doesn’t prevent adults from enjoying it too. It’s a very simple game, with the entire game being finding resources on a map to satisfy quest givers demands. A fisherman needs nets so he can capture more fish, so you find him some nets on the map resembling a still from Age of Empires, then click on the quest giver to turn it in, gaining a reward.

It’s a pretty fun distraction, but there’s not a ton to it. Not a bad game. PLAY TIME: 2 hours
